Formed in 2024, Fish Market brings together the talents and passion of its members for traditional music.
The artists weave elements of their personal roots into their work to create a unique sound, blending accordion, banjo, bass, guitar, pipe and tabor (flute), and three voices.
They take audiences on a musical journey through Romanian dances (geamparalele) and Serbian dances (kolo), and move them with Romani songs, bluegrass vocal harmonies, and Romanian gypsy jazz.
All of this is enhanced by a touch of Irish and English folk music. Alongside this traditional repertoire, the band also presents a number of original compositions.
Faith, one of the most respected British accordionists in Serbian Romani music, has created and produced albums with filmmaker Emir Kusturica of the “No Smoking Orchestra.”
Frank, from England, is a virtuoso of the five-string banjo; he is known for his original fingerpicking technique and is sponsored by the banjo brand Gold Tone.
Léa, an outstanding bassist with strong stage presence, is also a performer.
She comes from Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
Léa and Frank have performed together in more than 25 countries across four continents and have won several first prizes in international competitions.

Les artistes y intègrent des éléments de leurs racines personnelles afin de créer un son unique, mêlant accordéon, banjo, basse, guitare, pipe à tabor (flûte) et trois voix. Ils vous entraîneront dans un voyage musical à travers des danses roumaines (geamparalele) et serbes (kolo) et vous émouvront avec des chansons roms, des harmonies vocales bluegrass et du jazz manouche roumain.
Le tout relevé d’une touche de folk irlandais et anglais. A ce répertoire traditionnel, s’ajoute quelques compositions originales.

il est reconnu pour sa technique de fingerpicking originale et est sponsorisé par la marque de banjo Goldtone. Léa, bassiste hors pair au fort charisme, est aussi performeuse. Elle est originaire de Neuchâtel, en Suisse.
Léa et Frank se sont produits ensemble dans plus de 25 pays, sur quatre continents, et ont remporté plusieurs premiers prix de compétitions internationales.
